Tim Shiu - Director

Tim is Canberra born and bred with over 20 years of professional experience in the building industry.

Tim provides efficient, cost effective and practical fire safety engineering solutions and building code advice. Tim has a strong track record of delivering high quality outcomes for high-profile projects valued up to $100 million in the ACT and NSW. Tim has an in-depth understanding of Defence construction policies and design processes.

Tim is currently the chair of Engineers Australia’s Society of Fire Safety (ACT), and sits on the National Executive Committee. Within these roles, he has actively worked with his interstate counterparts at the National Board meetings and chairs ACT committee meetings. He also actively contributes at the ACT divisional meetings of Engineers Australia and volunteers his time to promote fire safety engineering in the local community.

• RPEQ (Fire Safety)
• RPEV (Fire Safety Engineer)
• Certifier – Fire Safety

Outside of work, you can find Tim shredding the snow fields around the globe and hitting the golf courses.
